Help in defining a relationship?

You're not in High school or whatever anymore, you don't get 'officially asked out'. You're both adults, sleeping together, seeing each other, wanting to be in a long lasting relationship. You know each other, you spend time with each other, he doesn't want to see anyone but you, I think if I knew you, I'd assume you was in a relationship!
